When my brother and sister-in-law fell in love with the idea of an audio guestbook for their wedding, I knew I wanted to give them one as a gift.

So I asked Colin, "If I found an old phone, could you turn it into one?"

He said yes.

Nearly a year later, our first telephone was ready. We put it on the table at their wedding and by the end of the night, we'd captured over 60 messages.

Some were funny. Some were emotional. Some were from people whose voices we know will become incredibly precious over time.

That's when we realised we'd created something more than a guestbook.
